The Shoe Camaraderie is a one day workshop filled with fun, good conversations, beautiful food, learning a new skill and finishing with your own made-by-you sandals!
Each workshop day will consist of up to 6 students (max) so that Lisa can spend ample time with everyone, guiding them throughout the day. There will be several sandal styles to choose from which can be made in black, navy, white or tan leather; you choose!
The classes will be organised in and around Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, but are not limited to these locations.

Each workshop will offer several styles to be made in black, navy, tan or white; you choose! Once you have secured your spot in a workshop, Lisa will contact you directly to discuss your favourite style, colour choice and sizing so as to ensure the perfect fitting sandals. The below images are of some of the styles available, but there are more being created which will arrive on this page soon!
For those who cannot attend a workshop but would still love to own a pair of handmade sandals, you can order any of the workshop styles to be made by Lisa. Pricing starts at $365 and can vary depending upon the complexity of the style as well as whether custom fitting options are required. The waiting period is approximately 2-4 weeks.

Step 3: Your shoes will be made and left to sit on the shoe lasts for 5 days

The Shoe Camaraderie was founded by shoemaker - Lisa Turnbull. Lisa has spent the last several years running her own business in the production and design of bespoke luxury women's footwear with clientele throughout Australia, New Zealand, UK, France, Denmark and the US.
Lisa is an advocate for the slow fashion movement and the life-long pursuit of learning new things - here is where The Shoe Camaraderie is born. Through TSC Lisa creates a setting for like-minded individuals to meet, mingle and enjoy learning the introductory steps of shoemaking in a light-hearted and supportive environment.
